  1. I'm not writing for everyone here. I'm writing for a few types of people. One of the types of people I write for is the woman similar to me in many aspects (not all, it's never possible to fully recognize yourself in someone else in all aspects, it's as unlikely as finding two identical fingerprints or two identical snowflakes). That would be... the woman who always has to do something, achieve something, addicted to work and addicted to results, a high-achiever, addicted to helping people, who tries to make everyone happy and solve everyone's problems but (probably due to the intensity of this activity of Solving-Everyone’s-Problems) is So Exhausted often and forgets about herself So often, or - without forgetting - puts herself last and takes care of everyone's needs first...

The second would be the type of woman I was in my youth - before I slowed down, and instead of slowing down, I was actually speeding up... That's you if you start becoming busier and busier without realizing it, and makeup is more important than moisturizer... I - I'm not joking, I seriously tell you: when my friend from school told me that she applied moisturizer on her face as her grandmother taught her, I laughed at her and held onto the impression for many years that face cream is for grandmas... I laughed in vain, because nowadays Laura's skin is gorgeous, while mine has gone through many challenges, including the constant feeling of being very thirsty... Laura with her moisturizer and me only with makeup, I loved makeup like crazy and couldn't imagine leaving the house without it, it's like I wasn't myself without makeup then (as a side note: it's been more than ten years since I stopped using heavy makeup and only use basic makeup now, and very rarely for a specific occasion do I use more complex makeup, but by this, I don't mean to tell anyone that they shouldn't use it anymore). Well, don't ask me if I remember nights when I would come home tired from a night out and wouldn't remove my makeup... If I'm not sure if I'm still paying for the mistakes of my youth, then all I have to do is look at my mother's skin, which is much brighter and more beautiful than mine, because she didn't make my mistakes... If you recognize yourself even partially in these mistakes, I kindly and warmly invite you to visit my blog again, so that together we can redirect your journey faster than I did. It's not yet too late to avoid a "too late"...

And the third type of woman I write for is you, the woman who learned in time to slow down and prioritize what is essential in her life, the woman who is at a stage in her life where she understands the need for balance and how to reach that balance (as humanly possible). I'm addressing you here on my blog, more so to use your example in conveying what I'm trying to say and show to the other mentioned types of women. And perhaps, in a way, to gain encouragement from you that "it's possible" for the other women who haven't yet managed to bring this aspect of their lives into balance... Thank you, to you, and you, and you...

On a different note, I would like to mention for whom I do Not write here: I don't write for the person who believes that self-care and beauty care are everything in life, because that's not what I believe, and it's not useful for anyone for us to engage in debates on these matters where we wouldn't agree. We can only agree that we disagree and leave it at that, BUT... But you are still absolutely welcome on my blog even if we hold diametrically opposite views on this aspect of life. I'm not seeking to impose my personal opinion, but I also won't waste my precious time on contradictory opinions. And because this blog is my little corner of the internet, you don't need to agree with anything I say and present. Just please respect my right not to use this precious time engaging in conflicting discussions; I won't do that.

And now, it's time to talk about my small online shop. It began during the pandemic, obviously due to the interruption of the family business in which I was involved and which still exists. It started tentatively, with many ideas that didn't quite come together and resulted in me first purchasing a lot of chocolate, candies, and specialties that later went uneaten and waited to see if I would create a store with them... :) For those trying to guess, the first online business idea was centered around gift baskets with sweets and specialties... Mmm, the specialties were so delicious! :) But in the end, maybe I wasn't so passionate about them, or perhaps we started gaining a bit of weight :) (in a side note, some time ago we had started a business with wonderful homemade sweets and had begun to sell them at markets, earning some decent money, which could have been really good money if... if we hadn't, in the same way, started to round up and put on a bit of weight as a family, which urgently required a change from the sweet and lovely business :) ).

The idea of having my own online store isn't new; I've wanted to have my own online store for many years. This desire emerged back when I was involved in a commercial activity, during my second entrepreneurial venture. It was in the food industry, and at that time, I dreamed of opening an online grocery store. It's been a little over ten years since then, when this idea and desire took root in me. But I can honestly say that I never envisioned, nor did any of you, the extent to which all these business tools, all this accessibility, would grow. Not even in the immediate pre-pandemic period were there as many facilities available to run such a business. I'm still quite overwhelmed by the multitude of opportunities, and it's even tiring sometimes to have so many options to choose from and to do the "work" of making the best choices. Sometimes, simplicity is better...

My mind (and my email inbox equally reflects this) has become quite cluttered with all these opportunities. Yet here I am, at this moment, partially fulfilling a dream, and not allowing the situation of the "void of fulfilled dream" to exist. Because first and foremost, I am anchored in something much greater and better than any earthly dream – I am anchored in Him, through faith in Him. All other earthly dreams are secondary and tertiary to this for me.

As you may have gathered, entrepreneurship isn't foreign to me. I've accumulated just over twenty years of experience in my own business (and sprinkled in, some experience as an employee in businesses created by others, as well as within the education system. In this latter area, I've worked also in the private education sector within my own ventures, as my passion for entrepreneurship blended well with my passion for teaching others and aiding them by conveying knowledge in a way that makes it easier and more motivating).

  2.

I needed to be reminded of this, to slow down, I always need to, and I've rediscovered skincare products in a way I didn't do in my youth... My story isn't just about skincare, or solely about skincare... My story isn't even solely about Slowing Down, although it's very much about the need to Slow Down... And, a few years ago, I began to see skincare as a way to slow down more... to put myself on a complete pause to reset myself... I'm not trying to simplify things and confine my story to just Skincare... Not even to the need to slow down the pace... I'm not trying to explain or imply in any way that life wouldn't be worth living without skincare, absolutely not; life is much more than skincare and beauty. In fact, I could say that skincare and beauty are Privileges that some of us have.

I'll share later, in a different context, my story and my entire perspective on life, which is much more complex than that. You won't leave my pages with an unmatched desire to dedicate yourselves 99% to 101% to personal care and beauty care only; rather, I'd like to instill in you a Desire for a Balance to be placed in your lives – to put it more into our lives – and a desire to Examine, Reconsider, and Reset your Priorities.

I'll never tell you that my view on skincare and beauty care is about them as the absolute priority of life, because I don't believe that and that's not what Life is about, period. There are So Many things and angles about life that we often don't consider, due to such a human indulgence in self-care or maybe we haven't been taught to do so..., . There are so many ways and moments in life that will demonstrate that other things are the true priorities. There are so many people on this Earth for whom life is seen in terms of survival, and not in terms of elevating personal care and beauty. I'm not willing to make concessions to this view of life that I have, not for the sake of a larger blog audience, not for the sake of increasing the number of visitors and buyers in my small shop.

We will get to the part with the shop soon. Let me continue.
